Horrible Squeaking!!

Don't Buy this glider. It squeaks so badly that its unbearable to use. When I first received it came with two of the same side arm cushions, no big deal they sent me the correct one right away. Then the base cracked. Again they sent me a new one no problem. After using for a few days it started to squeak so badly that it was torture to use and certainly not ideal for trying to rock a newborn to sleep. I called and called over several days and no answer. I was finally able to get communication over email but they never answered any of my questions. (I asked If the replacement base was made differently so it wouldn't squeak) but just to show proof of purchase in order for them to send another base. Finally they sent a new one and just as I suspected it started to squeak with in 20 minutes of use. Im so disappointed. Now i have to find a box big enough to send it back to Amazon. This is such a hassle.

Starts out good.

We got this chair in June and our whole family loved it. But, after about a month the seat springs started popping out.
We keep putting them back in but eventually they pop out again. No one in my family is at all over weight. We have no
reason this keeps happening.

This one's going back...

Beautiful, but broken...

When the chair arrived on my doorstep today, I was thrilled. Starting to pull it out of the box intensified the excitement as I realized the wood is beautifully stained, thick wood and the cushions are a beautiful microfiber. I was absolutely thinking this chair should so not be sold for only $197 (now today I see it's selling for $155).

I ran into problems after I got the entire chair together and sat down. I started rocking in it, since I had read the reviews about the chair squeaking. It didn't squeak, but I noticed it was rocking on more of a diagonal than back and forth. So I got down on my knees in front of the chair and saw there was a split in the wood. The main part of the base so the chair was completely unusable.

I called Storkcraft hoping they could send a replacement. After waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, I decide to do as the machine on the customer service line says and use their online parts request. I get on their site and (long story short) it keeps telling me the Model number doesn't match with the color I've said. Now I'm getting annoyed, as I have checked the model number and the color at least twice and it's on both the box and the chair itself. So, I call again. Wait again. Give up.

Thankfully this chair is part of the free returns and is going back. I will order it again, and hopefully won't have any problems. I will definitely review the actual product once I have a working item and some time to test it out!

Decent chair for the money

This chair is not the highest quality but I am hoping that it gets the job done. We had to ship it back x2 because it has stains from shipping. The last one that we received had stains as well but they were smaller and we were tired of returning the product so we just kept it. One of the arm cushions did not come with the needed clips to attach it to the chair so we will have to go out and buy those at a craft store and install them ourselves. Amazon was amazing about returning the item. The overnighted us each new one. Amazon had great service, unfortunetly the product is just not as great.

Squeaky and Disappointed

I guess you get what you pay for. I was debating over this Stork Craft or a Dutailier. I should have spent the extra money and purchased the Dutailier. I wasn't sure how long I was going to be using a glider but regardless of how long, it would have been worth it to not worry. After a couple weeks of having the glider in my son's nursery the glider started to squeak and progressively squeak louder. My husband sprayed it with WD-40 and it keeps coming back after a week or so. Can't really rock my baby when it's annoyingly squeaking at 2am.
